Emulsion Bleed - Marissa - Winter of Sixteen

- Shot on film -

Golden evenings with new friends on the edge of whatever the Floridian equivalent of winter would be.

I want to capture the way that I remember. A little bit less realistic and a little more idealized. Fuzzy and warm and filled with reverie. Like all those stories the family elders tell at the holidays. They aren't completely accurate, but neither are they false. They occupy the grey area between truth and fiction that all great stories must eventually land in.

A great photograph need not be realistic. But it must impart some larger truth.

Till next time,
